here try this: go to any craft store and and pick up a can of krylon glass paint in red. its about $4 and leaves a shiny see through coat. I did it on my buds e36, came out pretty nice., still good 6 months

how thick is the paint that's on there now? if it's not TOO thick you can also try going to a hardware store and getting a product called "goo gone". it's pretty good at stripping paint like that and shouldn't mess with the lens.

i tried to take the paint off with paint thinner and had no luck...

any ideas guys? maybe somthing stronger? was thinking of scraping it off but i might ruin it.....

Try goo gone, then try straight thinner. How bad are they messed up? If you wanna get rid of em, I'll trade you my stock corners for em...

You can use carb cleaner to remove the paint too and you won't have to worry about melting the plastic with the thinner.

Oh yeah! Anytime I messed up when painting something on my vehicles, I used carb and choke cleaner and the paint would come off like magic.
