those cheeper xenon bulbs...
Stupid question.. u know when u go into any aftermarket auto store, they always have a wide selection of headlights.. and i know that piaa is the best.. but anyone bought those cheaper Super Platinum Plasma (xenon hid white.. which claim to be 4200k)i think the company is Kasie.. are theses bulbs any good... are cool blues much better?
I just wanted to hear some opinions.. thanks in advance! -peace

The cheaper bulbs (most of them) have a reputation for burning out pretty quick. I used to have Cool Blues, and I hated them. Right now I have PIAA Platinums and I am happy with them. Id like to get the Hanabi or Philips kit, but cant afford it right now. One of my friends runs Eurolites in his headlights and hasnt had a problem with them burning out in about 6-8 months. Maybe try them, they look pretty good, quite blue though and not too great visibility.

Stay away from Catz or FET brand bulbs. I blew through 2 or 3 sets in less than 2 years, even after upgrading my headlight harness and I never ever used my high beams either. Plus the "good" Catz bulbs are expensive, about $50/pr. retail.
