What's heavier: 97-99 SE rims or 2000-2002 SE rims?
 
I suspect the 2000-2002 rims but how much heavier are they? what I'm trying to get at is how much will I notice the weight difference if I upgrade my wheels to the 2000-2002 style?

Nissan Maxima 95-99 GLE Cast 15x6.5 16.5 lbs
Nissan Maxima 95-99 SE Cast 16x6.5 19.6 lbs

And according to this thread: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ight=rim+weigh ... 2k2 wheels+tire = close to 50 lbs

2K/2K1 are around 45-50 lbs

WOWSERS!!!! They're a lot heavier. I don't think I'm gonna get em then. They'll probably slow down my car tremendously.

The 16.5 and 19.6 weights are without tires I'm assuming.

But even with tires, yes ... the 5th gen wheels are heavier.
