How high of a profile can I go on 18" rim not lowered max?
I would like to reduce the "appearance" of the gap I am gonna have with 18's. I DO NOT WANT TO LOWER IT right now. So how high can the profile go to fill that massive wheelwell?

To answer your question theres no possible way you will close that gap on your car, by installing 18's guess what will happen? your gap will increase and it will lift the car off the ground even higher. I have cut front springs and I did not fill up that space. The biggest safest is 245/40, all around. Or you can do the uncle max since I saw his car this weekend, 18x10 with 265/35 18 in the rear only. Your best bet will be 245/40 18. 18x8 wheel
