It sure is.
I'd be hesitant, though, to get a "one-of-a-kind" aftermarket mod. You never know what you may get into. I've seen these before as prototypes. The idea works, but those electric motors consume lots of power. I'd be asking a lot of questions about the drain on a max's alternator/battery system. I mean -wow- that racine motor sucks up 2000 watts each time you use it! If you use your max for short trips, you'll drain your battery faster than you can charge it! Last I heard, this is an idea whose time will come when autos switch from the current 12V to a new 42V standard. I wonder if he has a switch to turn it on/off? Like I said, it may work, but beware of the little idiosynchrosies a system like this would entail. :) |
That thing is messed up. I would;t get it. 2000 Watts is just insane power consumption. You better plan on running a lot of batteries in series to support that little beast.
