Does anyoen have H&R's with Stock struts/shocks?

IS that a good/bad idea? I'm looking for good ride quality with decent handling and the slightly lowered look of course.

I'm not an expert on the subject, but I think it will shorten the life of your stock struts/shocks.

I had H&R's with the stock struts. I just switched last week to AGX's and let me tell you, the stock struts suck. My car bounced all over the speed bumps and sucked around turns. However, it was very comfortable for everyday use. They just seem too soft for anything handling related.

Btw, my stock struts had 84,000 miles on them when I switched them, that could be the reason they seemed a bit blown. I had my H&R's for 15,000 on the stock struts.

Hope that helped.

sweet... i am getting some H&R's but don't have the dough yet to fork over for AGX's so i can run on stocks for awhile and it will still be soft enough for everyday use?! very good.... my eibach/stock combo blows!

I'm getting H&R's this week as well. I'm thinking I will run stock struts untill either I blow them or find the best riding replacements I can. A rough ride is fine when you're 16 but ladies my age won't appreaciate it and neither will I on long drives. Good luck, I will post my findings when I get them installed.

I don't know if having stock SE shocks help. Both my brother and I have H&R with stock SE shocks. The ride is decent and does not bounce at all.

I bought mine from Nick Bauer in Connecticut for $335. They were $365 shipped to Toronto, Canada. His price was the best I could find from anyone w/ stock. HE was awesome to deal with too.....very professional. Do a search with "Nick AND AGX" & it'll haul up the thread w/ his tel. #.
