Dash Light's Are dim

The dash on my 95 Is not bright at all i can barely see how fast i am going at night. Has anyone else had this problem if so how can did you Fix it?

Turn the little dial thats on your steering column to the left >> behind the windsheild wiper stalk..Dial it all the way to the left

its aight...I never touch that unless someone wackes it out...I keep it dim for looks...never bright as hell..
