Is this a grocery list? No, they're my ECU codes...

Hey guys,

Looks like I need your expertise again. I'll start by listing my codes:

0503: Front Right Heated 02 sensor
1008: Evap Canister Purge Volume Control Valve
0104: Vehicle Speed Sensor
0303: Front Left Heated 02 sensor

Well, I had been getting the Vehicle speed sensor code for a while, since my speedometer likes to turn on and off at random times, so that's not any of my concern.

That leaves me with 3. From what I read the EVAP canister PVCV is the "UFO looking" piece up by the throttle body. My question is: Can this be cleaned, tested, or does it need to be replaced? Any idea on cost?

My other problem is the 2 O2 sensors. It seems awfully strange that these two would appear at the same time, since neither one of them was popping up last week when I checked my codes.

I installed an poorman's HAI last week, could that have anything to do with it? Any ideas as to why they would both come on at the same time? Thanks!

Did you get an aftermarket y-pipe? If so, did you forget to reinstall the o2 sensors? Just a thought...

Nope, completely stock exhaust.

Good thought though

Is it possible these parts were not replaced by the recall? The codes sure sound like it.

Nope, I had Nissan run my VIN and the recall maintenance has been done. Plus, I haven't had the 02 codes come up before....I was checking the codes pretty regularly, as I had a bad Knock Sensor.

BUMP

Guys I reset my codes and the same ones popped up again.

Why would both front o2 sensors go bad at the same time?

Anyone?
