All I know is my stock GXE 5 speed abdolutely destroyed my friends stock SE auto. Both were same year and same mileage and in the teens in miles. Absolutely dstroyed him by several car lengths to 100+ I walked him in every gear. Shocked the hell out of me actually. Sorry...Auto Maxes are slower. Also, look at the tach on the hwy. An auto Max tachs lower while a 5 speed is higher at the same speed. 5 speeders have a lower gear ratio which also helps.

Hey,
Just curious...
Doesn't "shifting" in automatic cars screw up the transmission? My buddy does the all the time thinkin' he's tough, but I think it may screw up the gears in the gearbox or something. You guys know anything about it?I'm sure you do...
