im in the market for an exhaust........which would be best for under $400? i'd like to avoid that high rice sound.....

well you seem to be really really new around here so im not gonna tell you to search, maybe theres a chance you dont know how to use it but if you want a good exhaust your looking at a little more than 400. i would recomend apexi or greddy. you should also get a y-pipe, ill wait for you to post that question later on. unless you learn how to use the search function, good luck
btw apexi or greddy will run you 500-650 greddy being the more expensive one, and apexi is quiter

i would assume your are talking about just the "exhaust" part which they consider to be axle-back or basically just the muffler....

hahaha, good one jeffesonM, but if you just want a muffler or back section yes it will be cheaper but if you want any type of power what so ever just get the catback, because if you ever end up gettign a y-pipe (which is like the best mod for the money for the max) your gonna want the catback so you can get more airflow, and please please dont spend 400$ on a muffler

id personally go with the Apexi WS in combination with a XXXXX y pipe....really nice sound after that, and wont be to loud or ricey.....well maximas never can sound ricey

I'm plannin' on gettin' the stillen Y pipe.. with the Stillen SS muffler.. how would that sound.. that's after i save money... but for now.. i have this 100$ muffler i bought... that i will sell later on.. called a PT1002 muffler.. it looks nice.. but i dont' know how it would sound.. i plan to hook that muffler with stock exhaust pipes.. until i have enough for the stillen y-pipe/muffler... but for now.. what do u think about that PT1002 muffler? how will it sound

My only complaint is there is a drone when around 2500 RPM's. Other than that I love it.
Is it loud? YES

Is it Ricey Loud?

NO

Will it attract attention?

Has anyone tested/ seen results of tested exhausts on the dyno? Just curious...... I'm in the market, and my #1 priority is power, with nice exhaust tone second- don't mind loud, as long as it doesn't sound chincy, I have a pop charger and cattman SS Y as well.
