Battery Backup System??

Battery Backup System??
Has anybody ever heard of a Battery Backup" system whereby there are two (2) batteries in your car and if one dies the other takes over thereby not leaving you stranded. Any thing remotely similar to this??

The 4th generation Max's have a "battery saver" for any accessories left on. It's built in the BCM (body control module). If the voltage happens to fall below a certain value, the car actually turns off the accessory, such as the lights.
