WTB: 02/03 EGR tube

I need to pick up an EGR tube for a 3.5 swap. Does anyone have one they don't need?

Thanks!

Hint: 5.5 Gens do not have an EGR.

Pro-Tip: I do have one from a 6th FS gen though

Hrm, well then it must be something from the conversion to get it into a 4th gen, because this motor definitely has an EGR tube. I had to cut it myself to get the headers off And the guy at the dealership said the PN I'm looking for is either 14725-7Y001 for a 2003 or 14725-4L600 for a 2002. So I'm thinking you might be mistaken

As stated, 02-03 are free from the EGR demon.

However, it would seem other model year 3.5's indeed had this little monster. A quick search resulted in this (and many other) relevant threads which you may find helpful. I only used keyword: EGR and selected to look only in the 5th gen forum. Hope this helps! Initial comments about the EGR are near the bottom of the first page. When you use the search function, the search criteria is bolded in red (if another member has already reddened parts of their post, it will naturally show red as you scroll as well, but is not due to a problem with the search function). I mention only cause there is a lot of red in the thread I've posted.

That's so weird.

I called the dealership yesterday to see if they had any, and while they didn't have them in stock, he said they were available. So I'm not sure what to think. All I know is that the motor is an 02/03 and was previously installed in a 97 Maxima. Is it possible that I should be looking for a 4th gen EGR tube instead? I'm not super familiar with all the ins and outs of a 3.5 swap. Do you know what people usually do for a EGR in a 4th gen?

I personally have not followed the 3.5 swaps. Sorry. Try the All Motor section, use the search function there...bet that's where you'll find your answer. If I'm not mistaken, there is a sticky about 3.5 swaps in either 5gen or All Motor sections.....take a look.

4th gens came with egr,
2000 3.0 max had egr,
2001 3.0 max did not have egr,
2002-2003 3.5 did not have egr,
2004+ 3.5 have egr.

sounds like someone used 4th gen egr stuff to get rid of the check engine light problems associated with the swap.
