Aem wideband not working correctly

Hey members. I purchased that 03 that was for sale. Great car but I noticed the wideband gauge only reads 14.7 or 14.8 all the time. What can be the issue? Looking for a good tuner shop in the area to look over the entire car

A tuner shop is just a shop that charges more money to find an exhaust leak

You're reading full lean, so either you have a huge leak, or maybe the AEM sensor is done for

Wideband Worst

I've seen this issue too many times.
you need a new wibedand sensor for the AEM.
The one you have now is all sooty and doesn't read property hence the indefinite 14.8 (or a constant "---" on display)

if you have the most common 30-4100 model AEM uego
Bosch LSU 4.2 is the replacement sensor that you need.

Same sensor is used by OEM modern cars that already read widebands like 05-06 350z, etc.

Check your AEM model number and this is the sensor you need.
(If you have a newer flat gauge AEM uego 30-0300 then you'll need a Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband sensor - if you post a pic of your AEM wideband gauge I can tell you which one it is)

Could try cleaning it by soaking it in a tub of gas
