2k3 Brakes

Just recently sold my '99SE and bought a 2k3 Titanium SE. Great car but the brake pedal feel is much lower and has a softer bite than my '99SE. Anyone with a 2k+ have similar thoughts on this? Any recommendations on how to get the pedal to engage higher and with a firmer bite(i.e., replace brake pads or ss lines)? Thanks

Hmm. I always thought the 2k2+ had awesome braking in stock trim. Could it be because EBD is applying proper pressure to each corner and thus making you feel like it's not biting as well?

Just throwing out ideas.

To clarify, I am refering to brake pedal feel mostly. The car stops fine. The brake pedal, however, engages much lower and softer than my '99 SE did. The '99 enegage high and was firm when it did. The 2k3 engages about 1 1/2"-2" into its travel and there is very little feel or firmness when it does. Anyone else with a 2k2 or 2k3 experience this? Or perhaps I should take it back to the dealer for a look?

You can have it adjusted, mine was after my 7.5k service.

i know what youre talking about.. had the same experience when I drove a 99 max. I dont think there's anything you can do about it - well actually, I'm sure there IS something you can do to change it. But by no means, is that a sign of something "wrong" with your car. Maybe it just goes against your personal taste and what you're used to. Try and get used to it~ ;)
