Just burned through my second set of SP8k's in 25k miles (yes I drive my car pretty hard through corners). Great tires, but they just wear too damn fast.

Looking for some people who have had good experiences with tires whose treadwear rating is >200. Would love to know what else is out there. Thanks.

Pirelli.........

I have gone through many sets of tires and by far the best ones are Pirelli,

Go with Pirelli..... If tread wear is a concearn get SuperSport P7000, they will grip and ride smoth, I think their tread wear is 300, that is very good for a Z-rated tire.

I just bought a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE 730's. I considered other tires....Nitto 555,Yokahama AVS intermediates etc......I did some research and convinced myself to get the 730's. Ive only had them for a week. Ive found some good windy roads and off ramps to try them out. So far im very happy with them. They have a high tread rating. I was told by a tire dealer that they are the best overall tire for the price.....$145 each. 235/45-17
