Really mad at my car in general allthough it's really my fault...

Hey guys I'm having a rough day. As some of you remember I had that little incident with the clearence bar. Well as time progresses the damages seem worst and worst. I came back from North Carolina yesterday night and this morning I am washing/waxing the car. The fricken spots on the roof where the feet of the rack go are totally bent in. Current the roof rack can't even stay centered on the roof in the front and even in the back so some extent. I don't have 1700.00 to get it repaired and my mother refuses to file a claim under the insurance agency since her friend owns the agency and I guess he looses some commission or something?!?!?!

THen to add on my rims are still all messed up and the scratches thanks to nissan superior paint are really ticking me off! If I could I'd just sell this honky and buy another maxima, grrrr sorry I needed to vent! I was like cleaning the car and the more I look at it the more it makes me frustrated until I just stopped!

I've had a pretty ****ty week also, I replaced my entire cooling system on my BMW which was known to have failed around 60,000 miles. I have 58,800. I bought the entire kit on sale for $260.00(normally $450.00) Spent Wed night from 12 in the afternoon till 2 in the morning doing most of the work. Got some sleep till 8:30 and finished the rest of the work around 12 in the afternoon. This included a new radiator, new metal waterpump( as opposed to the factory plastic) new thermostat, new thermostat housing, 2 new belts and hoses. Drove around town to check things out and things were fine. Got on the highway and right before I left the border of CT into NY, the new cooling system blows. The fan somehow broke one of the clips holding the hose to the coolant resivour and shattered all the blades on the hose and destryoed my new radiator. Putted my car to the dealership and cost me $1200.00 to fix (orginal quote was $757 and change) Then today, my check engine light comes on and the car starts farting, I pull over and the car dies/stalls. Does it twice and it ****es me off because it's an auto. I blame the spark plugs I have and ordered a new set of NGK's from Nopi.com to be overnighted. I hope everything for you turns out okay.

man, both u guys are going through some frustrating times.. i've been there.

one reason i won't have a beamer (bimmer) is because of repair costs... i just don't feel good about getting a car i can't work on or the parts prices are outrageous. yeah, it's got good handling, yeah it's got cool leather, yeah it's all computerized... but how much is it going to COST me to fix it WHEN it starts to go bad?
