2k2 OWNERS W/NAVI

I have been thinking about this, as i am deciding on a future project.

After installing my entire system myself, i found that the electronic climate control is so small, and can be relocated anywere (like the STreet Scenes 2k2)

Now, since 2k2's have the available NAVI, i was wondering if I can buy this bezel from a US dealership.. (CANADIAN DEALERSHIPS don't have NAVI so they won't know what i am talkinb about)

HOw much is this entire bezel?

I figure I could put a 7" screen in the factory navi bezel, put my pioneer cd where the caseette goes and move the climate control inside the centre console.

THat would look so sweet and look so factory..

Just to let you know, I am thinking about running a computer in my max to play MP3s, divxs, engine computer interface, GPS, etc...

oh man... save yourself the hassle...

go to xenarc.com (manufacturer)
http://www.xenarc.com/product/700ts.html
get the TSV, 7" touchscreen (800x480 REAL VGA!)
up to you if you want 3av (composite) and 1 VGA or just 1 VGA.

its 12v powered and has the standard mounting. I would simply make a block that locks into the cassette hole (on OEM radio) and use it to secure the screen.

mp3car.com people say this guy is reputable and has good service.. will knock $20 off for mentioning mp3car.com
http://www.spysupply007.com/LCD_Screens/

then
get one of these
http://www.directron.com/ezgo.html
its 18v, but fairly easy to hard wire with a DC -> DC converter.

then get this
http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...ct_code=283631

and finally
http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...ct_code=290643

oh... dont forget this to hardwire a *QUALITY* GPS sensor
http://www.gpscity.com/products/garmin/35.html

there... that wasnt so hard was it ;)

btw, I'm hacking into the CD changer wire for AUX input into the OEM radio. Will do a write up soon...

Man you did your homework...LOL

I don't need the AUX hack however..

I tosed the BOSE audio system a month after i bought my car.. My pioneer has AUX IN..

Thanks dude
