Greddy exhaust fitment?

Found the Greddy Evo (for GLE) and Greddy Sport (for SE) cat-back exhaust systems on Nopi. I'm wondering if anyone knows fitment issues on my GXE.

Also, can anyone speak to the sound of these?

BTW, I tried many searches but couldn't find this answer. Sorry if it's old news.

Thanks.

Mike

If you have a 2K - 2K1 they will fit perfectly. If you have a 2K2 they will need to re locate the O2 sensors.....

My Max is a 2000.

Not sure about listings on Nopi. But Greddy does list 2 different styles on its website.

Also, has anyone heard these exhausts?

Thanks.

4th gen uses SP...5th gen uses the Evo...

there is no fitment issues to worry about if your have 2000-2001..dunno for sure for 2k2s..

it drones a lot if you're stuck between 2000-2500 rpm, but without a y-pipe, it souldn't be too bad.

Smax: Thanks. Looks good. How about the sound? Was it a lot louder than stock?

All 5th gens are supposed to use the greddy evo. i got my greddy from nopi too and later found out it was the wrong one. The SP needs about an extra 3 inches of piping to make it fit. I got the greddy SP installed even though it was the wrong one but i love it. It sounds way better and deeper then the EVO.

Mike...the EVO is definitely a lot louder than stock...I could barely hear the stock, but ever since I've put the Greddy on, I bet even my neighbors know that I'm home. It's especially loud when you are revving in 2nd and 3rd (automagic) gears, when you hit 4th gear or get past 70mph, the drone becomes less noticeable. It doesn't bother me too much coz I had an Si b4 the Max, and I've been getting compliments on the way it looks and sounds. Since I live in Chicago, I don't think I'll be lowering the car any when I have the Greddy on...prolly wouldn't get a y-pipe either coz I keep hearing from other org members that it becomes even louder!

Smax,

Thanks for clearing that up. I have a Celica with an HKS on it and it's bad at all. Although, the Max is really the wife's car so she might not put up with it like she does in the Celi.

Say, I'm in Chicago (Evanston) too but couldn't make the Busse Woods meet. Maybe at the next one I can listen to yours to get a better idea about it.

Thanks, again.
