300M Chrysler, what HP? Can't touch Max

Anyone knows what H.P. the 300M's have. Saturday morning (5:15A.M.), saw a 300M, flying on 75 Central, pulled up to it, it tried to catch up with me, dropped the O/D control off. He caught up to me and I floored it, it was not even a contest, I pulled away with no problem. He then floored it and there was a car inside of me, so I let him take off, at this time I was'nt even trying to take him, my exit was next. The reason I'm posting is not to flame the Chrysler boys, I for one, happen to like the looks of that car, I just thought it had more H.P. than my Max. Any info. will be greatly appreciated.

I meant a car in front of me, not inside, don't need anybody freaking out and thinking I'm a sicko.

Just read their website, the 2K2 has 250 H.P., I guess if you figure that H.p. VS. ours, my y-pipe and Intake, were pretty much even as far as H.P. goes. If you factor in their cars xtra weight, no contest.

Yeah, and the new 18" wheels that come with the "Special" trim add more weight to an already hefty car.

The Chrysler 300M loses alot of HP in driveline loss also. Road and Track post a 1/4 mile time of 15.9 and 0-60 of 7.8. Pretty sad. Its a great road trip car though. Just won't win any impromtu races.

I always thought it was a sharp car, inside and out. Unfortunately it's a Chrysler

If its anything like the dodge intrepid then it drives like a brick. We rented one for 2 weeks and that thing would just NOT MOVE.
