Don's VB installed.....getting my car ready for the SC!
stage 1 of my project is now completed. :)
Kevin: thanks for all your help on this project! It was really really fun to work with you. The best part of this is not only getting the VB isntalled, but also to learn from you! I cant wait for the next stage. VB/solenoid/tcm/tranny cooler was installed last weekend and this is the best mod ever for my auto tranny. It shifts much faster and stronger than stock. I havent floored it yet....but I can feel the vb even driving slowly! I noticed that there is not much metal deposit on kevin's tranny pan. He had the VB since 14k mile and took it off at 60k? The tranny has less wear than my stock one with 33k miles. (and he has SC too!!!) come to my homepage (still under construction) to take a look http://www.cardomain.com/id/nezo16 have fun! |
Saw your homepage, lucky basturd! Wish I had some free professional help in my town.
Who's the long-haired slacker in the koni pics? |
No problem! You can't wait for the next step, huh? :naughty: What's that boost gauge for on page 4? :D
Do you remember the height of the tranny cooler? Was it 6" or 6.5"? |

About the vb, I notcied it shifts stronger (more noticeable) on 2nd - 3rd. 1st - 2nd is a weaker than 2nd-3rd. was it like this when it was in ur car? oh! have u received ur new toy yet??? :) |

Originally posted by Y2KevSE All the fluid needs to go through the passages in the VB. I've seen the one in the B&M ads and it just looks like a bunch of passages that the fluid travels through under pressure. So, why would it take time for the fluid to go through the passages? N/M, I'll try my LUCK on the search. |

"If" the VB was bad, or the installation was bad, symptoms would've shown up and the transmission could be saved before damage occurs (if it even is damaged). |
