How do I tell if my 2kse is fed or cali spec?

Thanks. I'd hate to order the wrong stuff. :)

OK

If you have 4 sensors, what does this mean for your HP? I seem to have a cali spec in Ohio? Can you still get a Y?

If I am not mistaken, 2000's had Fed and Cali...after that ALL Max's were 'CALI' spec.

You can still get a y-pipe. You just have to get the right one for your cali-spec. As for hp, I'm not sure how much is lost with cali vs fed. I guess you'd need two stock dynos and compare a cali and a fed to really tell.

http://www.custommaxima.com/Ypipe.htm for the different y-pipes including a 99-01 cali spec y-pipe from custommaxima. I'm sure the other y-pipe manufacturers have taken this difference into account. Custommaxima sells the cattman one.

Coo...I dont feel gipped in HP then. He he.

I have been hearing good things about the Budget...anybody know why it was not a "premimum" option? If its 304 and mandrel bent..why is it not? Peeps seem to keep waiting for Warpspeeds? And Stillen is just $$$ I dont have.

you can still get a y pipe if you are cali spec, pre 2k2. the designs of the pipe are different so you want to know what you have before you order. i dont think the 2 extra sensors mean any horsepower difference but it does mean there are alot more to replace when and if they go bad.

Stillen's Y pipes for Cali and Fed are identical. The only difference is that with Cali spec you won't be able to use the small downpipe piece.
