FSTB doen't help at all??
The first mod of my car is the RSB, that's after a long search in our forum, thanks!
Most of the members here agree that FSTB has little or no improvement to the handling. If that is the case, why waste the money? Even it's only $10 on ebay. Any different opinion? Thanks!! |

i drive a bit agresivly and one hwy i drive on comming to work is realy curvy and i have noticed a slight difference in front end body roll was reduced.

The FSTB doesn't do as much as the RSB, but it does help. It makes the front end stiffer. You won't feel it as much if you put it on after the RSB, but don't quote me on that because I did the FSTB first.

it stiffens the chassis too doesn't it?

fstb
I just got an fstb a couple weeks ago. I also went from the OEM Toyo Proxy 16" tires to a set of Dunlop SPA2 16". I did the tires before the fstb. After going to the Dunlops I couldn't corner as well as with my previous Toyos. Now with the fstb I'm almost back to the Toyo-like cornering. Basically what I'm trying to say is that I definitely notice a difference with the fstb on my 00 SE Auto. I can tell big time when taking clover leafs at higher rates of speed before merging onto the freeways. For $40 including shipping I have zero regrets.
My next move is still an rsb though :D |

I actually did feel a little difference with the FSTB when I tested Custommaxima.com's version of it a few weeks ago. I went down to their location to test the fit of the bar and Greg installed it and then we went for a little ride. I did notice that I could be a little more aggressive taking corners. :D
He said that they will be available within a few weeks. I am already down for one of them. I also will be getting the RSB in the near future. |
You would notice the FSTB effect if you've had it for a while and take it off. Still, the fstb doesn't make as much difference as it does on the 4th gen cars.
|
I felt a difference in high speed cornering for sure. For less than $40, it is well worth it. I don't even have the RSB and I feel like Mario Andretti going through turns.
|
With the FSTB turns feel more secure and on track.

It just looks cool :P
