(2k2+) Can't seem to find the right clearance bulb color? Here's What I did (PICS)
Listen to the story first. It's kind of like Andy's curse.
I started at 3:50pm. Ended at 5:25pm. I first took out the "Tim Ware" bolts with my special key. I couldn't remove the drivers side headlight (ITS HARDER THAN YOU THINK! It was my first time) I hurt my fingers/hand trying to take it out. I finally got it loose and I started trying to pull it off..doesnt work. Then i finally moved it back and forth and it came free about 20-25 minutes later. I changed the bulbs..I tried putting it back on! I couldn't do it. I called my friend Mike but he was at work and wouldn't be back until 6:30pm. So I was like SH!T Then it starts drizzling! I panic and I try as hard as I can to get it back in place and it works! (this story is far worse than it sounds) I know I am probably not the first one to do this on a 2k2+ Maxima but I haven't read about anyone else doing it so I am the unofficial first one to do it I guess. I changed the clearance lights to an orange bulb. I like the way it came out. http://images.cardomain.com/installs...80_27_full.jpg http://images.cardomain.com/installs...80_28_full.jpg Tell me what you guys think I changed it to orange because the PIAA Super Plasmas just weren't white enough and I kept reading about how none of them seem to match up that well. So I just went to another color to avoid that |
well, another option (and only $10) is to try a pair of the 194 led bulbs. they're actually whiter/bluer than the hids making the hids look yellower. didn't like that so i put em in my rear license plate area instead. but they're an option if you really want that white/blue look.
