Tokiko's Installed/First Impressions
Had the full set of Tokiko's installed yesterday and so far the ride is nice. It does not seem to be rough like most people were mentioning and I think they match well with my Maxspeeds. The bad part is I am taking 3 of my managers to Vegas on Friday and I am wondering what the ride is going to feel like with all of them in the car.
The funny thing was, my stock struts were so blown I could fully compress the shock with my bare hands. Final thought, My stockers were so blown that anything is an improvement. I think I just need the FSTB and RSB to complete the suspension. |

I don't know, it would be hard to distinguish. The car has 28k miles on it and I put the springs on with about 22k. I hit a big pothole a couple of weeks ago and that when I started to notice the problem.
The Maxspeeds are a very conservative drop, so I don't know if they caused the struts to go. |
oh ok. i have about 45k on my 2k1, and i think my suspension is still ok.

Originally posted by IceY2K1 I'd DEFINITELY do the RSB. Read my other post on my review. BTW, how did the hail damage turn out? |

Originally posted by 2000 SE Uh, so so. I mean from a couple feet back it looks fine, but if you really look the clearcoat is wavey on the car. Best part was, they filled my front bumper license plate holes, and I got the entire bumper filled and painted. Did they use the "paintless dent removal" method? Or bondo/paint method? I forget, which you said. |
