Stock Auxiliary Input?

I asked this in the audio forum, but no response so far so I thought it may get more hits here - does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Matt

I did a search with not much information and I was hoping that some of you audio experts could help me out. I am by no means an audio expert so please treat me like I'm dumb because when it comes to audio, I am.

I got an Ipod for Christmas and want to use it in my car. I do not want FM modulation as that does not produce high quality results really. I have never really liked tape adaptors either. I have the stock Bose headunit on a 2000 Maxima SE and obviously there is no aux input on the front anywhere. Is there one under the dash or in the back or something that I could somehow access? I would prefer this method even if I had to have a wire just hanging from the back of the headunit or whatever, but it may not be possible.

Any suggesstions would be appreciated otherwise I'll have to use one of the previous 2 options.

Thanks in advance.

If I'm not mistaken, the AUX is for the optional Clarion CD Changer that come on some of the maximas and are in the trunk.

Phat,

Thanks for the reply - if that's so, then I may be out of luck since I have that changer in my trunk right now.

Bummer, but I do appreciate the reply.

Matt
