Dudes, chill out. Give him the benefit of the doubt man!

Some of you guys are jumping to conclusions. I know a lot of people that sell their stuff on ebay. They have contacts with repair facilities and the like. How many repair shops do you think are in the US????? He's only selling a few items!

Also, click on that guys feedback on ebay. Do you notice where he gets all this stuff from? Other sellers on ebay! Some of you are just to quick to pull the trigger. How would you like it if someone bashed on you like that?

After checking his feedback, this guy looks totally legit. Besides, crooks will get what they deserve eventually. He can't continue to steal headlights forever if he does. As for us, we just need to take standard precautions just like anyone else has to.

Crime is high and we're all at risk, but just give this dude the benefit of the doubt. We need more love in this world!

Dudes, chill out. Give him the benefit of the doubt man!

Ok, look at it this way. What if you're all wrong? Then what you have done is screw with an honest person and inconvenience him greatly. How would you like it if you set up a stand at a market and a gang of people came up and just randomly accused him of stealing all of his products? They then proceed to gun down the place and set his stuff on fire. This is like a klu klux klan gathering. You would have basically set a cross in his store and set it on fire.

What if you're wrong? That is why you should let the law do its thing. You live in the US so you should obey the authorities even if you don't agree with them. That is part of the privelidge of living here. Would you like your house threatened by some crazed maniac? What did you do to him? Nothing? Why is he at your house threatening to burn it down? Because he thought you did something he can't prove?

Did he steal your lights from you? Maybe? Maybe not. Chances are, NOT! Do you think he can go on stealing lights forever? NO!

Stop rallying like this is a racist operation and give this some rational thought. Is it really worth it to do illegal things for a cause that's not even confirmed? If you did illegal things, you'd be no different than the theif himself. YOU'D BE NO DIFFERENT THAN THE THEIF!

Why do you think racism never ends? It's because of thoughts and actions such as the ones suggested in this thread that keep it alive and well!

Put your thinking caps on people!

Re: Re: Re: Re: DONE

Let me warn you guys about one more thing. All your IP's are logged. If you are wrong, and his operation is totally legit, and he decides to pursue legal action, you better have your butt covered. After reading some of the threats and malicious posts, I think some of you better start posting in a different manner.

Just tryin' to talk some sense into some of those that think they're hiding in their home behind some electronic curtain. You're not as annonymous as you think.

I think a lot of you have better things to do than this. Go search for some meth labs or something. Do something useful with the time you've spent making threats.

I have had things stolen from me AND I myself have been accused of stealing things before and I know how it feels. It's an extremely offensive thing especially when the accuser has no grounds whatsoever to even suggest such a ridiculous accusation.

Some of you need to think twice before you do something stupid. Now I'm not trying to defend this guy or anything, but after reading the posts, I just couldn't keep quiet. Someone needs to talk reason into this crazed mess and I'm surprised others have not said anything.

Goodnight

I am a seller on ebay that sells parts in a legit business. Recently a thread has popped up on your forum that is generating a lot of hate mail. I am constantly getting threats and harrassment. What action can you take regarding the thread?

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=188809

They are threatening to mess up my business. They are encouraging people in your forum to buy my items and not pay. Then they tell them to leave negative feedback. This is clearly a thread gone out of control by crazy people.

Can you please pull the thread from your forums and warn the people making the posts?

thank you

Hello,

I will not take any action regarding this thread. What you can do is register and explain your situation. Since you're able to view the thread I'm sure you have already registered, but I am unable to find your screen name using your email address.

My guess is that you are MaxToTheMax. I checked your profile and noticed that you have a 2000 GLE in Pearl Blue Metallic. Nissan never made a Pearl Blue Metallic Maxima.

All "threats" were removed as requested by Dan. Everything else left in this thread are not considered "threats."

Kevin, you have publicized my email address. That I would like to ask you to
remove from your forum. I think that is a reasonable request and an option
for other forum members.

I do not have to display my email address in there and I do not want it in
there. Can you please delete that from the post?

Done.

Let me ask you this. Don't you think some of the members are going overboard
with the threats and other stuff?

---------------------------------------------------

No explanation was given, so you tell me if that is fair or not?

Yes, you are correct. I have tried to talk reason with some members and they
refuse to listen. May I ask why you will not take action regarding the
thread? There are clearly threats in there and that is illegal. Don't you
think threats against other members are against your forum policy? Isn't the
policy enforced?

---------------------------------------

Talk reason? I haven't seen any replies from members regarding your "reasoning." Why don't you just explain yourself publicly instead of doing it behind the scenes?

All "threats" were taken out. Everything left on there are not considered "threats."

I followed through with your request, Dan. Now it's your turn to answer in 1st person, not third.

Thread is reopened, but not for discussion unless your name is Dan Chan.

Y2KevSE Feb 18, 2003 09:44 PM

Since you have asked me to remove the last of your email address from this thread, I assume you have read this thread. Why don't you respond and give some closure?

I may not be so responsive next time someone finds one of your HIDs with broken tabs and posts the info here.

You give an answer and I'll lock the thread giving you the final word.
