Thats the thing, Eibach claims 1.3" front and 1" back...thats BS in my opinion...

I think i got 2" AT LEAST!

Powertech muffler I think. I've got the Cattman. The muffler tips are definitely smaller on the cattman.

Did you get springs. When I changed to eibachs I used the old springs, I thougt it was ok, until I finally put my AGX's in. What a difference!!!! My advice is don't even think of not changing the struts, the stock SE struts CANNOT handle Eibach springs.

Hopefully I won't be too far behind you. I think I'm going with the GR-2s and Maxspeed. Doesn't Maxspeed have about the same drop? Did you use the dust boots? How much were the struts and springs and where did you get them?

Wait till the springs settle, it'll get even lower. I got the eibachs with GR2's and it's a nice drop with a good firm ride.

Cant do a body kit since he got a powertech muffler, no rear valence is going to clear it.

Thanks for all of the compliments. Ride feels great, just have to take it easy on bumps.

The muffler is a powertech. Sounds awesome! When i do get a body kit, i will have the body shop modify the kit to make it fit

I hope you realize modifying a kit will cost in excess of $300-500. On an Aero kit you have too much to modify making it almost worthless.

Might want to think about that.

Did you use dust boots? and did you trip your bump stops? I'm having a hard time deciding what to do. I want to used dust boots to protect the piston rods, but don't want to spend $50 on KYB dust boots when some people have gotton them from other places cheaper.

Can someone explain to me "spring load"? If I'm not mistaken you can get springs with different spring loads??? I mean, what if I install custom stereo(amps, subs, etc) in my trunk? I know that affects ride height.

Id listen to Dixit if I were u. I personally would just change the muffler. Last I checked the rear valence on my car only has an 8" opening. I threw in a magnaflow muffler with dual 3" tips and it clears each side by .25". jusy enough for it not to get too hot. Looks just fine and sounds too damn deep to tell the truth. But id just change the muffler. Btw what type rotors do u have on ur ride, the rims and drop look sweet, and those crossdrilled rotors looks sweet as weel. Im gonna get cross drilled in the future just wondering what brand u got.

I've got a question...

..looks good, but the height in the front and back doesn't look even . It's the case on both the before and after pics. I saw the same thing on my 2k3 (not lowered) but I figured it was all the stereo equipment I had in the back.

Also, how rough is the ride now? I think the stock SE ride is tight enough for me so I guess lowering isn't an option. If I could only throw a heavier engine in there

Well the reason mine looks lower in the back is because in the back seats i still had all of the stock suspension and my trunk looks like a bomb went off. lol

I took everything out and it looks a lil better. The thing is, It still needs to settle.

As for the rotors, I have the STILLEN setup Cross Drilled.

Thanks again for all of the compliments.
