governors on 2001 se ?
does anyone know if a 2001 se has a governor,and if so what the governed speed limit is? someone told me it should go no more than 110 115 mph

it will go above what "someone" told you in either 5spd or auto. some says they top out at 130 while others say they can go above it.

I have hit around 135 and it was still pulling... had to let off cuz there was no more road...This was back when I was stock...I haven't taken it that high since I got all my mods.

If ur max is an automagic.....130mph (they are limited to this)
Manuals made about 135-140 (drag limited). I know this because i have tested both.

i agree with you, i just didnt want to get into another arguement with someone. my speedo was a tick under 130, back with stock tire size and GPS backed it up.
