As soon as the snow clears out i'm going to put 1" springs in my bad boy.. But I hear the Eibach's are really rough.. What springs can I put in that will give me the performance gains without compromising comfort...

If you want comfort you have to sacrifice performance. H&R are softer and offer roughly the same drop but you won't have the same performance gain.

rough

So how rough of a ride is it?? Is it on the annoying side....?

I don't have them. I do plan on getting them. Lots of other people on here have them so I'd expect an answer from one of them soon. Overall I think your response will be "the handling is worth any drop in comfort". Besides, I don't like a car that floats down the road like a cow.

I have Eibachs on my 2000 Maxima SE. The ride is harsher than stock, but in my opinion it is not annoying. I have the stock shocks on the car with only 5400 miles. Im not ready to change to Tokicos or any other shock just yet. Ill wait til the factory shocks wear out. Ive read the they are history at about 20,000 miles. That translates to over 2 years of driving to me...........GOOD LUCK!

Eibachs

I would just go with the Eibachs, the added control is worth the hardly (to a SE) stiffer ride. It is not anything near unbearable.

I installed the Eibachs b4 getting Tokico shocks. The ride was unbareable since I live in NYC. After getting Tokicos and a wheel allignment the ride seems better but not like b4. If you live in a pothole infested area, don't lower your car.!!!!

hehe...
yeah. it gets stiffer but...hey, nothing comes for free!!
if you want more speed at the corner, then sacrifice the comfort a little bit...if not, just stay with the stock set-up~!:)
