Thanks Emax, here's pics of my new 2k2 tails!
I used VHT red metal tint paint and applied 3-4 light coats from the inside of the tailight housing. I was gonna get the "Vans" paint but I got this VHT stuff for $8 Canadian from the place I work so I use this instead. It matches pretty good and at night, the turn signals still flash pretty bright. I also spray painted the bulbs red as well. I'd like to thank Emax for coming up with this wicked idea, your the man!

Originally posted by NT2SHBBY hey zoggfatha, did you remove the lights to do this or just spray em inside the trunk? |
Originally posted by zoggfatha Just pulled the bulb out and sprayed in there w/ some Testors translucent candy apple red paint. I bought it at wall mart for like 3 bucks. I think it looks fine, but others have said the other type of paint matches better. PM me if you have any questions. |

Emax and others used Van's paint, they ordered it on the internet i believe. The Testors is in the toy section at walmart with the scale models (model cars, etc). Make sure it's translucent candy apple red.

Originally posted by NT2SHBBY I would've said to remove that orange lens and pop it out but I think the lens is made that way... Only solution is to spray it, IMO |
