A few questions guys. Now that I put more than 15k miles on my 2000 gxe, I've decided that I finaly need to put some mods on (can't resist anymore). The first thing i wanted to put was some kind of air intake. I've seen that a lot of people have different once, but what do you guys recommend (also, i don't want to spend a fortune, still a starving student at SF State). How much is that going to cost (rough estimate) and how much does installation cost?

Also, I was thinking of puting a Front Strut Tower Braces, is stillen the best?

Besides that, I don't really know what to get, I still want to keep my warrantee. what do you guys think? any recomendations. Maybe there is something that can improve performance or make the car feel better and doesn't cost a lot of money, but I just don't know what it is....

Please help

Igor

Well for intake if you're on a budget you should look into the custom cai they've been talking about. Search on "air box silencer" (I think that'll get it for you. FSTB shouldn't void your warranty at all, RSB will give you a lot more bang for your buck. You can get the Addco rsb if you wanna pinch pennies or you can get the Stillen and have an easier install and possibly better performance.

Don't go for Stillen. They charge double compared to other brands. Stillen charges $200 for their intake while other intakes cost $40 to $100. They give out the same amount of performance.
The same thing goes for the FSTB.

Hey Igor, when you buy the part(s), drop me an email because we (NorCal people) can do installs for you.
