On a 2000 SE???
Thanks, T |
Resonator for the stock intake ;) You dont need it.

So..if you remove it, what happens? Good, bad
or indiferent....do you lose of gain power or no change?
 |

H/P Gain
If you remove it your car will be lighter thus a 8 h/p gain which will help get you to 88mph and 1.21 gigawatts faster!:tard:

With the obvious scientific certainty of
the two answers above, I think my white box under the battery will stay exactly where it is, eh?
 |
Then, what is the purpose of the resonator?
Thanks, T |

Its to absorb N/V/H
I've sealed the tube that leads to it before. The noise increase wasn't there but I could feel more vibration through the gas pedal |
you can just remove the elbow piece. I can't remember but please correct me if i am wrong...but the ram air intake thingy is the only air inlet. If you remove the elbow joint that connects the two then you can get better throttle response and a little more hp. The engine sounds a little throatier than before and a little less refined.
