Los Angeles Police are not allowed to carry mag lights anymore after they were on the news via new chopper beating a pursute suspect over and over again with it. Now they carry ruberized plastic lights.

So it is a deadly weapon if anyone is not sure.

bahaha.. trunk monkey..

glock ftw though...

A good flashlight is a key thing to have though, regardless of where you put it. You don't realize how dark it is outside at night until you try to fidget around with your engine at 1 in the morning in the boons. The big mag just looks classy though

I rented a Yukon for the weekend, and every time I unlocked the doors, the headlights would turn on, and light the path. Great for the boons. I need to install a relay to activate by fog lights when I unlock my doors.

I used sell tapping sheet metal screws, literally took 30 seconds to drive them into the hump for the front driver seat mounts.

Now I need some black felt so the butt of the light doesn't scratch up my plastic.

It's probably better that I don't keep a firearm in my car..... I'd be way to tempted to shoot some old fart for driving like.... some old fart... or something like that. Anyway here is my color coordinated mag light. I have an extra clip is anyone is interested.

Out to fontana? I live 1.5 hours from Fontana and I'm not driving that to save the literally 30 seconds it took me to drive the screws in.

Going to resurrect this thread again a bit...

I bought the mounting brackets this past week but was unable to screw them down into that flat spot next to the driver's seat, I even got a drill and tried starting the screw hole with it but it feels like drilling into hard metal, I couldn't get the screw holes started. What am I missing here, no one else mentioned this problem??

I used a pair of self tapping sheet metal screws. I just drove them right in, nice and smooth.

I took the fuse cover off, mounted a piece of wood behind it then mounted the scanner. fits like a glove.
