Momo shift ***** on 6 speed's?

What is the issue with them? I read something a while back about them interfering with the reverse engagement collar, or something. Do they go down too far to pull up that collar all the way? They just attach with set screws, I think. I would love a carbon cobra, but will it work? I want to start accessorizing my interior, so I need to figure out what shift **** to go with first so everything matches. I'd love the Momo c/f e-brake handle too.

Yes, it should work. The stock **** just unscrews. It's a short throw shifter that you can't put on.

I have a Momo Cobra/ Black Leather and I had to trim some of the plastic on the top of the reverse lockout ring to get it to fit properly.

We talking just a little trim around the inside of the hole, or surgery?
Did the Momo **** just not go down far enough?

Just a little trim. Less than a 1/4 inch. After that, I was able to put the **** as far down as it would go and still lift up the reverse ring.

The MOMO Leather\Aluminum **** fits on mine without the reverse ring getting in the way. The **** cannot be inserted too deep into the stick otherwise reverse won't be accessible

Is it much, or any higher than the stock **** once you got the ring trimmed?
I guess I'm going to have to take it to a couple places to see if they have a **** that I like and just see if we can try it out.
This was a big help bro. Thanks much!
