random technology high flow cat or custom maxima racing strait pipe for 2002-2003

Does any one have a random technology high flow cat or custom maxima racing strait pipe for 2002-2003 maxima. Which one will give more hp and torque combined with an injen intake. Does the racing strait pipe make the car really loud. Thanks for your help.:goofy: :greenboun

The RT flows no better than the stock cat which is already very good.

hi-flow cats are over rated

The stock 2k2 -3 cat is just as good as the RT Cat. I have a Customaxima straight pipe and am very satisfied with it. I wont know true gains till they fix my o2 sensor, which fried BEFORE my exhaust mods..

If you're looking for performance, you dont need the RT cat. I had one, it did nothing. I also have the CM test pipe. It's a bit louder but I did notice a gain over stock and with the RT cat.

RT cats are overated.. Just goto warpspeed and get the one their sellings. It's cheaper and supposed to be better.. Or you can go the cheap route and have a shop make a testpipe for you for like $35 :)

The god thing about the CM straight pipe is that it lumps up like a Cat , so if you get pulled over and get a visual inspection, you can always say its a polished Cat !
