Nitto 450's
I just ordered myself a set of the stock 17" size Nitto AS 450's. Anybody tried 'em before? How are they in rain/snow?
At least I feel confident that they will be better than the craptenza's:rolleyes: . -James |
They are good dry tires, but from what I hear they are not so great in the snow/rain.

Don't listen to the Nitto haters, I have had them on for about 6,000 miles through New England Weather (Rain, Sleet, Snow, Etc.) They run alot better than the Potenzas and as good if not better than the Yoko Avid V4s I used to have. Excelllent Dry Traction, Good wet traction, and alright handleing in the snow. Without stepping up to the Michelin Pilots, they are the best replacement tire you can get for the 17'.

Yeah, shoulda coulda woulda done a lot of things different if I could have in the past. Oh well

I have them on my max. Got about 5000 miles on them. For the money, these are excellent tires. Much better than the potenzas in dry and wet conditions.

Good for the $$$ but that is it. 25k miles on mine, damn noisy now. The traction in snow when I drive to Denver is a joke. Thankfully I am in Vegas. Yoko ES100s are going on next.
