Empty Cd Won't Eject

Cd #3 on the Bose Changer in my 2k3 Max SE is stuck. There is no cd in there, but the deck thinks there is- but it won't eject bc it thinks there's nothing there. And it won't allow me to load one either bc it thinks there's one in there already. How do I fix this?
Thanks
D

I guess you gotta go to a dealer. If not, try a Bose repair man. Then again, I don't have a Bose system because I am too poor to afford one. Maybe someone else can help you more.

Damn- that sucks... anyone else have any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks!

Dealer replacement. Do you really want this junk one fixed? Get a new one! (or get in line for a new one ;) )

THANKS!

believe you me, be glad u didnt get it...I bought it thinking it'd be as awesome as it was in 02 altima...what a piece of sh!t it is....it's low, real sh!tty treble and overpowering muddy bass....

to compound the heartache, it's a b!tch and a half to upgrade, basically the system should be replaced in it's entirety..... :bawling:

This happened to my friend. He went to dealer and got a whole new deck....

I would go get a replacement deck. But have you tried having the CD player eject all (hold down the eject button). This may be different than simply ejecting 3. Hope this helps.

I doubt they replace the decks with new ones, most manufacturers don't. Usually they swap it out for a refurb one that has been repaired. You really don't have much choice though--get it replaced or go aftermarket. If it's acting up now it will only get worse over time. I would try the "eject all" thing first, and if that doesn't work then pull the deck and disconnect the harness for 30 minutes or so to reset it.

ok- Ill try those things! AWESOME!! THANK YOU!!

You mean 31 doesn't overpower you?

ok- I did the eject all function- and guess what? It ejected them all, but now it won't let me put any new cd's back in! What a POS!!! Any suggestions (other than taking the damn thing back?)
Thanks

Pull power on it for 30 minutes or so, maybe it will reset. Odds are it will happen again though. Might go ahead and let the dealer fix it now.

yup,

I had a problem with a 12 disc JVC that would not eject the magazine. To solve this, I had to unplug it's power source thereby reseting it. When I plugged it back in, the magazine ejected.

so just disconnect the battery in the car for an hour and this will fix it?

NO, there should be a power source for the cd player; unplug that.
