Happens everytime, makes you think your wax isn't working. I f you doubt wax the hood again then spray it with your water hose .Now does your wax work? Something about trees and what the rain washes off of them.

What kind of wax are you using? I just waxed my '02 with S100 and it's beading like crazy. :D

i used nu finish, and it beads like crazy, but the b!tch leaves some ugly water spots because nu finish attracts a lot of dirt... I am thinking of changing to Klasse polish, which i heard was the best out there....

My friend turned me on to this stuff and it is by far the best was I have ever used.

For those of you who aren't familiar with it, it's a Harley Davidson motorcycle wax. It is easy to take on and off and the best qualities are:

1) Long lasting
2) NO powder residue!
3) Will not stain rubber moldings!

It runs about $16 at the Harley dealership and is worth every penny. It comes in a small container that seems to never run out!

Yep, I am usually parked under trees with no problem at all.

Harly D was isnt as good as KLASSE Polish.. And no, you cant find it ay any parts store... You can try on ebay.. or you can look online.. I think a 20oz bottle runs around 21 bux.. but its well worth is... that bottle will last a long time..

Hey, do any of you people wax your windows?

I use Meguiars also and it is excellent. I just picked up a bottle of their professional polish along with the gold class liquid wax and did the hood of my car last night after washing the entire car (only had time to do the hood) and it looks like the car was dipped in silver paint. It is very glossy and smooth.

Don't use dishwashing soap to clean your car. It will strip the wax right off your car. Use a good quality car wash soap.

I use maguires soap to clean my car but good suggestion.

So you liked the maguiars polish????? i used that stuff and hated it, real hard to get off! i love their wax though.

I like the Nu finish polish and the maguiars wax.

Zaino

Zaino rules as far as I'm concerned. I put it on in the fall and it beaded on my Sequoia all winter. Just reapplied, check it out.

It did seem like a lot of work to get the polish off but man it looks so nice now. I think it would work better with a buffer (which I have-I just need to pick up some pads for it).

If you think S100 is great, trying topping it over Klasses. WOW!
