Removing registration stickers from windshield

Hi,

What is the best way to remove old registration stickers from my windshield? Will a razor blade scratch the glass?

Thanks,
Matt

Depends on the stickers. The ones I have had have been easy to remove just by peeling up one corner and pulling, then using glass cleaner to remove remaining adhesive. If you have more difficult stickers, I would use a razor blade at about a 45 degree angle or less (so as to slide under the sticker without being steep enough to 'gouge' the glass).

Just use a razor blade. It won't scratch the glass. The messy part is removing the glue residue it leaves behind.

I usually just install a new windshield and go from there!!!
Have no time to mess around with trivial things like scraping stickers off!!!
Just my $0.02

Goof Off and a razor blade. Use a clean new blade that is sharp and keep it flat and you will be fine. A knicked up blade will scratch the glass.
