Swapping out bose tweeters w/polk 3500's...

Is there a crossover used to separate the signals to the door speakers and the tweeters? Or does it use a capacitor?

There's a small crappy one mounted on the tweeter itself (in my 2k2 bose)...the polks have another one to use with them.
