Dealer and the tsb's

Went for my 15,000 maintenance the other day. While there I showed the mechanic my printed out copy of tsb's for my 2k2 6 speed. I told him I've been having problems with the howling noise and the hesitation in third gear. About an hour later he called me and told me they needed to order (going off my paper) disc assy clutch, cover assy clutch, and bearing clutch. Also, they ordered a new Maf that needed a new ECU update. For anyone who had these tsb's done, are these the correct parts?

Don't know about the clutch parts, but I just had my ECU updated last Monday and I didn't need a new MAF. I guess some do others don't according to the TSB. But even if they order all those parts you aren't paying for them so what's the difference. it would be worse if you stood there with the TSB in hand and they would do nothing for you.

The TSB that I believe you are refering to is for Automatic 02-03 maximas and altimas that use the drive by wire (electronic throttle) system. It deals with the MAF sensor and/or reprogramming the ECU with an updated drive by wire program. Check out the link above for all TSB's...:)
