hi 96coupev6, IMHO since the Kelly Blue Book - Trade-in Value of that car is $10650 (thats if this one doesnt have a sunroof) I would say its a good price at $10500

You think you're gonna talk him down $1500? Good luck. That car is already a steal at the asking price.

YEp.. Very fair price.

From a DEALER I paid 11,000 drive out for mine a year ago. That 11,000 included taxes, fees, everything. So...the actual sales price was like $9,800. HOWEVER...the car had right at 70,000 miles on it when I bought it, and it's a 5 speed.

i would say 10,500 would be a bangin' deal.

only 35k yeah man thats an epic deal

Yea, that's a fairly good price for a GXE. I'd definetly go for it if I hadn't gotten mine already. :D

He might go for it. At a dealer they'll usually give him 70-80% of low blue book so that's why he's selling it himself. Hope you get it for 10,500. I'll bet he doesn't have many takers at his offering price.

(OT: Has any received low book for a tradein without paying an inflated price for the new car? Last car I traded in was a newer model in mint condition and they offered 2/3 of low book)

I got close. I had the new car at invoice with no rebates and the trade in at about $12,800 if I remember correctly. The car sold for $14,200 via private party.
