how about snow in the intake??
 
sup all
well just wondering, i live in the chicagoland area and um the weather here sucks, big *** rainstorms and $hitty winter, and i know that the injen is the best for the $$ but im afraid of messing up the filter with snow??! or big *** puddles... would the Frankencar or Placeracing intake be better??

I also live in Chitown. I got Frankencar and no problem. I also do not agree with your statemant that Ingen is the best intake for the money. lot of people on the board are not happy. it suck too much hot air and pipe gets hot too.

With that plastic guard thing under the bumper, I don't think any snow will get into the Injen filter. It seems to be well protected from all the elements. I havn't had any problems with rain, just don't go through any deep standing water.

Not sure which intake is the best for the money, but I like my Injen!! BTW - I know about snow...I live in Wis.!
