Who can get deals on JIC's

Who's the one that can get good deals on JIC's. Whoever it is just PM the price. I am considering these since I want my car to be lower the I am with my H&R's. I don't want the Tein springs cause then I will be too low for the winter with coilovers I can raise it up during the winter. The Tein coilovers I have heard the shaft can rust fast and in the winter we use salt on the roads which makes metal rust faster.

Where did you hear about the Tein shafts rusting? That doesn't sound right for a $1K+ setup.

I think you just missed Avalon Racing's sale on them.

You should call them and see if they have any left for that price. That was a GONGA price. Damn near a GB price that took MONTHS to finally happen.

Heard from a performance shop that sold them and said they had people coming back cause they rusted cause they didn't put the dust cover on. The upper model tein's have the extra coating to prevent that but it's not included on the SS series. I haven't seen it in person so they could of been BSing with me.

Thanks for the detail. I see the Flex dampers come with teflon coating. Their website shows the SS dampers now coming with "New paint coating for rust prevention". That's new since their 2/03 brochure was printed. Maybe they're fixed now? :gotme:
