For the rear driver's side wheel being off camber. Considering the camber is not adjustable on the rear wheels I felt I should take this in to the dealer. I already posted on this, just creating a thread for when I hear back from them. I also am trying to get my ECU reprogrammed for the cold idle drop. I keep telling myself that maybe the new ECU program will fix my gas milage...

Actually you can adjust the rear up to 1 degree each way. The rear suspension just needs to be loosed and adjusted right. That is how they got my 98 lowered maxima into specs. The dealer did this and fixed it.

Hrmm.. the service advisor said it wasn't possible... either way as long as it gets fixed I don't care. :)

Per the book it is not possible. But if you loosen the suspension components, the rear beam, shocks, you can adjust it slightly. There is always play in the suspension.

Okay... so they called back... checked the alignment and its in spec. What did they use to check the aligment you ask? A FRIGGIN TAPE MEASURE!

Oh.. they can't repro the cold idle drop... not that hard guys:

start the car..
the needle should be so low it doesn't register on the temp gauge
idle rpm will be like ~1200
put it in gear
idle rpm drops to ~700 or so

This is why I dream of getting a different car every week.

Okay so they put it on the alignment machine and the camber is equal 1.1 degrees on right and left wheels. I dunno why it looks that way (and shows up with my ultra scientific level test). Maybe its an air pressure thing?

As far as the cold idle goes, they are going to contact techline. I may end up with a new ECU. They may reprogram mine. I may get squat. We'll see.
