any word on flywheels for 2k2's?

Anyone heard of or know when one will be out for us?

If we use the same one as the 350Z/G35C, then there already are ones out... :wall:

harmbone2k2 Dec 19, 2003 08:49 PM

so what kind of power increase would that give us then and how hard would the install be?

Any word if any other VQ35 platform has used the pulley set out for the 350Z?
If it can go on our cars?

I think quick was asking which JWT had, I know JWT has the flywheel available. I was about to start snooping around to see if anyone had one on yet.

someone had a 350 flywheel on their maxima....last i heard was that they lost time on their 1/4 mile.....rpm's dropped too quickly. which kinda makes sense, but then i'm thinking "wouldnt' you make up for that with quick acceleration"...it's all assumption till you drive it.....not a necessity for me yet....

You do have to adapt your driving style when you change to a lighter flywheel. It (the car) shouldn't lose time when he/you/anyone finally gets the technique down...

Of course, I don't have to worry about that since I'm an automagica!

yes, if we use the same as the 350z and g35 then there are already ones out for the 2002 2003 maximas.
