Not even close. This pic is taken just after I got them on. I did know how much to adjust them so after I got them on I went back and drop it about an inch and a half. Now there is about another inch I can go

most likely not the same noise.

talking to a few people about coilovers and lowered suspension, they say it's good practice to put some ?lithium grease? in between the coils and on the top plate where the spring sits. also the strut bearing (plastic piece) should be coated with lithium grease. our stock suspension has certain parts pre-greased. now even though you haven't reused stock parts, you should have greased it up a bit.
people confuse with greasing as a way of hiding the problem when it's really something you should do anyway.

btw, very nice setup. do us a favor though, get a roll of tape or something and put it on the tire so that we can see where the tire ends and the wheel well starts. THEN we'll be able to see how much it was really dropped. front and back pics please. if we can't see the tape, then you got tuck and we're all jealous ;)

Lumbee1 Dec 30, 2003 07:18 AM

Alright we all know the ride looks good, but how does it drive? Harsh, soft, rough, smooth-as-stock,etc....

Ammi Dec 30, 2003 08:06 AM

Looks good. Maybe we can get a Group Deal on Tosers?

The ride is stiff but not rough. I have the damper set on the softest setting and it rides pretty good. Absolutley not as smooth as stock though, but who cares about that anyway. :goofy:

TitaniuMax03 Dec 30, 2003 09:55 AM

just like everyone else..very nice lookin drop, and the Max is just badass

Yep they use the stock strut mounts. The only thing is you have to slightly modify it to get it to fit right.
