Gas milage
What kind of milage are you getting. I just took a 450 mile trip on a toll road doing 75mph avereage with 33.7mpg with stick shift in a 2002. All numbers according to the onboard computer at 38F.
that's good. Nowadays, I only get 375 miles w/ full tank
The most I've ever gone is about 400....33 mpg is insane :O
I thought the on board computer was no where near accurate??
Yep, the consensus is 3-4 MPG overly optimistic. If you went 450 miles on one tank, it should be anywhere from 25 to 29 MPG (15.5 gal to 18 gal fillup).
yeah 33 is insane, that's like sayin u got 610 miles to one tank
Ya...you own a $30,000 calculator that can't divide two numbers accurately.
Its pretty accurate on long trips at steady speeds, but in the city thats a different story.
What is your definition of pretty accurate? I haven't seen anybody go much past the 500 mile per tank barrier, not to say 600 miles. I'd like to see what his DTE was after 450 miles and 33.7 MPG.

Sorry for confusion. I DID NOT drive 450 mi on one tank .. actually maybe I could have, but I refueled early. It was a 450 Mile Trip that gave me 33.7MPG.
per computer, I get 23mpg mixed driving, and 28/29mpg hwy. I'm Happy.
just calculated it today ( not using the trip on dash)and got 213 miles on 14.2 gallons, thats about 15mpg, ugh, i hate winter.
