Single Tip Exhaust on a 5th Gen Maxima?

Anyone here run a single-tip muffler on a 5th gen? The stock 5th gen has a twin-tip. I don't see why it would cause any problems, but I'm curious to know what it will look like before I get it installed.

I ordered the PT1012 (dual 4.5" tips like Kloogy) the other day and after a week of waiting, it finally arrived!!!!

BUT...

The box said PT1002.. I opened it up hoping it was just the wrong packaging...

NOPE. PT1002 - Single 3.5" tip, same 5x8 oval body, same straight-through design, same sound.

Basically it's the same as what I ordered, just a single tip instead of dual.

Interestingly enough, it should fit a LOT better than the dual 4.5" tips, which I was really stressing about...

What do you guys think? Would this look OK on my 5th gen?

If not, I'm going to demand a replacement and make them pay for shipping charges.

Honestly, I'm happy with the way they both look, but I'm just concerned what a single tip would look like on a Max, as everyone I've seen has a dual-tip like the OEM configuration.

Thanks,
Kevin

My honest opinion is that it looks :Puke:RICE

I have a single tip and love it.

I'm worried the bumper gap will look oversized compared to the exhaust tip, because it is wide.

i personally like that styl, but not how it wraps around on the tip, in my area alot of hondas have that wrap around tip.

Yes, I like the PT1012, but I got this PT1002 here. I really don't want to have the hassle of shipping it back and waiting longer than I've already waited, but I think I am going to. After all, I paid $106 shipped, so I might as well get what I asked for (and want).

*SIGH* Another week or two w/the stock muffler.

Check my homepage. I have a 4" diameter single tip MagnaFlow muffler. Doesn't sound ricey either. I think it looks good, but hey thats me...

Single tip doesn't look agressive. Just get a Powertech 1012. Just return it and it will pay off. You'll be a lot happier because of the deep sound and it will look better once it's on your car. BTW that single tip muffler shown looks like RICE! Don't get it.

lol, you guys aren't even reading... I got it already. They f'd up my order and sent me the 1002 and not the 1012... GRRRRR.

OK, well thanks for the advice. I'm going to return it and demand the 1012, like I originally ordered.
