beautiful
are they 18's or 19's?

looslip Apr 3, 2004 05:42 PM

18x8
I had to take off the dust caps on my rear hubs to get the rims on. Somebody recommended that I use some kind of silicone to protect the hub there. Does anybody know if just plain ol' silcone aquarium glue will work?

2k3TitaniumSe Apr 3, 2004 05:58 PM

Looks nice. You should paint the rim black and keep the lip polished.

jesse Apr 3, 2004 06:23 PM

Very Nice!!!!!

LithiuMax Apr 3, 2004 06:26 PM

Surprisingly those look pretty big for 18's...almost as much lip as my rims too! I like...

nupe500 Apr 3, 2004 08:18 PM

Very nice rims there...very nice!!!! deep dish...

Hamy Apr 3, 2004 09:14 PM

Great pics...your car is looking really hot. I must say that lip is badass!! What are you lowered on?

maxima0002 Apr 3, 2004 09:42 PM

Looslip,

your Max looks great! Any plans on adding a front/rear lip.. that would complete the package .. btw, how much were your HP Evo's?

looslip Apr 3, 2004 11:03 PM

Thanks, Ilya. Glad I didn't have to send them back.
damn that new Stillen lip would really wrap things up.
I'm sitting on GR-2's and maxspeeds but I might just have to save for some coilovers. Somebody had already told me to lower it more... I wonder if those Tosers would work on a 2k3.
Thanks for the comments everybody

Love the look of those wheels. Is there any other alternative to removing the dust caps? Is it your off set of you wheels causing them not to fit over the dust caps? what off set do you have?

MaximaPolak Apr 4, 2004 07:08 AM

Nice DUBZ  I like them but there is no parking there........Fire Lane. I like the tail lights too.

You could pound the cap with hammer to shape to fit or you can get the outer bore of the wheels bored out more. Some use spacers but I feel like I'm already at the edge of the fender so that wouldn't work for me. I'm not sure of the offset but the guy I purchased it from said 38mm.

02maxima Apr 5, 2004 03:50 PM

looslip. how much space is there between the wheel spoke and the front caliper . thank you nice wheels

greenguy Apr 5, 2004 04:04 PM

Man looslip, that looks impressive. The 18's were the right choice. A very clean look! Awesome shots!

looslip Apr 5, 2004 10:02 PM

Thanks guys :D
People walking by were staring at me wondering what the hell I was doing with my car parked on the grass like that.
02maxima, there is 2 centimeters of clearance between my stock calipers and the inside of the wheel spoke.

Blu Apr 6, 2004 04:48 AM

looks nice :), also looks like you had a little red paint leak to the bottom of the tails. I had the same problem until I switched to my current setup.
